I'm a woman too

This weekend I had the opportunity to spend some time with some friends of mine to celebrate a birthday. Sometimes I forget that I'm anything other than a mother. It's not until I find myself in those moments, being silly with girlfriends or spending time alone with my husband that I remember I'm a woman too. Being a mother isn't the ONLY thing defining who I am. I often forget how much I love to just be me until I get the chance to do it. And it's funny because having this time away helps me to appreciate the role I have as a mother even more. ch
