Megan has roseola.

Or so the doctor told me today. Which makes sense. Symptoms of roseola include. High fever lasting three to seven days, then, when the fever breaks, a red, spotted rash will appear over her torso, face, arms and legs. So far we've had three days of fever over 40 degress and now I'm just waiting for the rash to appear. I'm truly just thankful that it's nothing serious! I was beginning to expect the worst. It's so much easier to handle a sick child when you know what it is that's ailing them and what to expect. Now, that I think of it. O'm almost positive that Ben had roseola when he was a baby. At the time I thought he'd had an allergic reaction. But, it makes total sense that he'd had it too. I'll go dig out the pictures.

I hope she gets well soon! Atleast you know what it is so you can treat it properly. :)

Delaney had roseola just last year which is pretty uncommon. Kids usually get it before they are three. At least once the rash appears they are usually feeling much more like themselves. All the little birthday party goers should be on the lookout for symptoms as it is fairly contagious.

Glad you know what's making her ill. She'll be back to her spunky self in no time. :)

Hunter had that, too.. it was a much milder case than your kids seem to have had/be having. It's nice to have a name for the thing making our kids sick, isn't it??

Hoping that she is all better soon!
