Weddings and Reunions.

Sorry friends for the lack of info over the last week or so. it's been a crazy few weeks for us. We travelled the lovely thirteen hour drive to Lethbridge with Dustin's fun family to attend his cousin's wedding. THe drive was long but the kids were amazing until the last hour or so. But, I think we were all losing our minds by tha point. It was an amazing weekend filled the sounds of love and laughter that the reunion of a family brings. Dustin's cousin Laurell was married on a wind filled Saturday (surprise surprise). The wedding was simple, small and elegant. The day following the wedding all the cousins and aunts and uncles and grandchildren and great grandchildren filled the giant backyard of Dustin's aunt and we ate and talked and laughed. Out of the six hours we spent there Ben hardly left their trampoline for more than three minutes at a time. And Megan was scarcely seen off of the giant tire swing hanging from the big tree in the middle of the yard. I have pictures but they are yet to come. It was so fun to see all the kids playing together. Ben even made a new buddy. He fell instantly in love his second cousin Christian and the two were inseparable for days.
After the whirlwind of that weekend, Dustin headed up to Leduc for a few days to extend his visit with his family and I was put straight to work on preparing for Becky's big wedding day. We ran two and fro from dress fittings to Michaels to rehersals and whatnot.
The day before the wedding we all excitedly enacted what was to come the next day at the rehearsal. All but one ringbearer. My little Ben. He was terrified. He kicked and screamed and wailed but would not walk down that aisle. I was so disappointed. Even little cousin Josh made it down without a fuss.
On the wedding day we put him in his ADORABLE little tux and tried to see how he felt about and he wzas in a pretty good mood. We told him that if he did it and was really good he would get a gift at the end of the wedding. And you know what? He flew down that aisle with a smile on his face and the pillow in his hand. I was so proud I almost cried.
As for Becky, she was the most glowing and radiant bride I'd ever seen. I don't have any pictures as we left them all with my parents but She was tall and elegant and a radiant dark, doe eyed beauty. Everything was perfect. From the decorations to the flowers to the food. Probably the classiest and prettiest wedding I've ever seen. Good Job Becca!! As for me. Well, I was happy with my dress. The color was beautiful and It fit tight but well. I had a guy do my up do which was a first for me but he did a great job. And he wasn't even gay. So, I think I looked pretty hot but, a little chubby compared to the other two skinny bridesmaids. My belly is unable to be contained any longer. At 17 weeks I'm starting to really show. Which is amazing. I haven't felt any movement yet which is much later than the other two so I'm hoping maybe this is a sign that this baby will be a calm silent still one. Right? Or maybe it's just a little one.
Sorry, for the lack of pics. Soon. Though. I'm glad to be home.

That's it for now. I'm out.

I'm glad you guys made it home safely! I will have to give you a call soon! Got sick yesterday, still kind of sick today. Green apple splatters. I'm sure Dustin can relate. Oh and the best news Dan passed his test! Give the little guys hugs and kisses from us. Miss you already.
