7. 8. 9.....10!

First off I'd like to announce how proud I am of Olivia for gaining three pounds since she's been born. YAY OLIVIA! I never expected her to gain to easily. Looks like she just may end up being like her big brother. AKA- A mega chubster. I would love it for her to be a little rolly polly, squishy, hangy-cheeked, I have to peel apart the leg rolls just to get you clean-kinda baby. She's well on her way.

Yesterday I took her to Kelowna to see the Cardiologist. I was a little apprehensive about what he was going to tell me. But, after another echocardiogram he sat me down and gave me some wonderful news. He believes that Olivia will likely never need surgery and will also likely be asymptomatic. Her ASD (Atrial Septal Defect) is most likely not even an ASD but rather a natural hole in the baby's heart that just has yet to close. Her VSD (ventricular Septal Defect) is small and may close over time and will probably leave her unaffected. What a relief. I don't need to see the Cardiologist again for another two years. I actually wasn't too worried about her to begin with as Olivia is obviously thriving and has never given signs of distress. So, there's the good news.

The bad news... My brain cells are draining away with every ounce of breast milk that leaves my body. A few days ago I sprayed Pledge in my hair instead of leave in conditioner. I also keep forgetting to put Megan in her Pull-Ups at night and I've been doing more laundry as a result. i cannot seem to remember anything these days. Where I put my keys, what year my kids were born, how old I am...you know, that kind of thing. I'm hoping the brain cells return soon before I hurt someone.

Until then, I hope you enjoyed the adorable pictures of Olivia and her two friends Danai and Avelyn. So freaking cute!

I think we'll get our brain cells back in about 13 years...in time to handle the teenage years :)
