A Famillial Affair

Is is just our family or does anyone else have like...A HUNDRED birthdays in March? To the Heigh family March is now March Madness. A month in which we celebrate five birthdays. And now we've decided to just lump it together and celebrate those in early April now as well. Dustin commented we might as well get it over with and have a party for everyone in the entire family in March. There's not too many left over anyways. It would seem that June and July are BIZZAY if you're pickin up what I'm laying down...

Anywhooooo, we had our multiple b-day bash in Merrit as it were at the home of Dustin's parent's where it all began. With Five kids four and under it proved to a bit, shall we say, INSANE at times. And yet good times were had by all at some point or another. The kids had a blast whackin the bejeepers out of a Nemo Pinata one afternoon. After which much hoarding and noshing occured.

In this particular picture the children are observing one of their crazy adult relatives attempt to break open said pinata blindfolded. As you can see by Megan's demeanor it was a loud affair and also by little Tristan (second cousin) aldults are strange, and all Ben can think about is how much he has to pee.

Here Megan is sporting her ridiculously adorable new birthday dress. Compliments of Uncle Brad and Aunty Danielle. She is beyond beautiful.

Little cousin Keaton. A little boy so like Megan in that HE DOES NOT STOP MOVING! What a happy little boy though. And as you can see VERY cute!

And LOOK how cute Olivia is in her dress. Stop and stare for a minute and I DARE YOU not to smile. See...Can't do it can you?

And of course the ever popular "let's round up all the grandkids and put them on a couch together while they're all tired and grumpy and try to get a decent picture. Ever a hilarious endeavour. One sucking his thumb, one zombified, one trying to figure out what Daddy is saying, one shlumping and one, of course, crying. SO CUTE!
