Baby Daze!

Avelyn joined our ranks today as her mommy was working hard bringing home the bacon. It was a surprisingly restful day as a good friend of mine relieved me of Ben and Megan for the afternoon so I could chase around the two babies. And, yes I did chase them but I also had two hours when they were both napping. AT THE SAME TIME! I almost didn't know what to do with myself....so I didn't do anything. And doing nothing was everything I ever thought it could be. In fact I'm planning on doing it again next year. And the year after.

I love this kid. No other kid but Megan can make faces with such attitude.
This is what happens when you get two kids who can crawl to sit still and look cute for a picture. That's right...Olivia learned to FULL OUT crawl yesterday. As in -all fours across the room to pull all the books off the shelf crawling. I'm totally unprepared for this.

Sorry Amanda, I did allow Avelyn swallow a few small handfuls of rocks. I'm sure yo can just pick them out of her poop tomorrow. Makes for a cute photo though doesn't it?
Okay, seriously...I can;t stop laughing eveytime I look at this picture. It needs to me on my wall where it can cheer me up all the time.
See how much she likes it at our house?

Umm, Olivia. Can I just be honest with you for a minute? I think you should know that your mom is a bit of a whackjob. We're good friends now so I thought I could be honest with you.
Olivia is shocked at this new truth.
She's young though, she will learn the truth for herself sooner or later.

Too cute! Love the pictures. I think you should start up that photography business!! Amanda is lucky to have you as a friend. It is easier to go to work when you know your child is being lovingly looked after.

Those pictures are fabulous. Everytime I read a blog of yours I always think "Christy could totally be the next Anne Geddes!! And take the world by storm" You have quite the eye for a great shot and the ones of the children in your life are fantastic. Keep 'em comin' they make for plenty of smiles in our house.

Christy- seriously- BE A PHOTOGRAPHER. You will make millions and be the next Anne Geddes. Beautiful shots of beautiful little girls. I love the one with Avelyn's tongue sticking out.

Best babysitter EVER (minus the rocks, but hey, your kid was almost crushed by a floor lamp under my watch...tit for tat). I am in love with these photos...the two girls are so cute together. And you definitely captured the essence of my crazy girl. Thanks so much!

I came over here as encouraged by kickyboots. Your pictures are beautiful. I assume it's the photographer and not just the camera, as I have a nice little camera and all my pictures come out looking all average and stuff. Anyway! Beautiful shots.

Love it, love it, love it. Heigh five to you for sweet pics. That Avelyn has some spirit in her, love the shot of her giving tude. You need to make some t-shirts for the two of them so they can start a crawling gang and take over the nursery's across Canada. Something like, "We are tough chicks, we eat rocks"
