Don't forget these guys.

I was browsing blogs yesterday and I read a quote off ny cousin shannon's blog which she actually got off here a long tima ago and it was such an amazing reminder to me that I needed to share it with you.
"One thing is certain: If we do not willingly give our children the right kind of attention, we shall be compelled to give them the wrong kind of attention. The time we do not spend caring and playing will be consumed in silencing complaints and doing damage control. Later on when our kids are older, every hour we have not invested in loving them will be spent instead sitting in offices of counsellors, principals, and probation officers.
I other words, children expose our idols. Every time we think of a child as "interrupting" or "interfering with" our lives, it's because we have erected an idol in the place where love alone ought to reign. Ironically, our idol may be some task we think we are performing for the sake of our children, only to find that we have exchanged the God of living relationships for an isolating god of our own devising. "
By Mike Mason "The Mystery of Children"

It's clear I need to reread this book.

My sister Becky wanted an update on the kids so here it is:
Olivia is still cute, still chubby, still happy...

See?
A woman at swimming lessons told me she thinks Ben is one of the most hansome boys she's ever seen. Me too.

This guys been chewing shoes and Toys and stealing cookies when we're not looking but we love him and he is such a sweet and affectionate little guy. He does like to hump Amanda's dog Rolo though. Just LOOK at those eyes! Irresistible!

Daddy took Megan on a date just the two of them the other day. They went for ice cream and a walk. SOOOOO Cute. Here's a few pics just before they left.

Again....observe and enjoy the chub chub. Don'tcha wanna bite it?

Sorry this one's iritatingly blurry but too cute not to share.
Again with the cuteness. I can't help myself.
Have a good day.

WARNING, WARNING. You have exceeded the CUTENESS factor - way too much cuteness going on here. The pic (black and white makes it even more nostalgic) of daddy and daughter is so precious. And all your kids, well, what can we say - look at their parents. How could they be anything but beautiful! Thanks for sharing.
Oh, and the quote from that book....(throat clearing) CONVICTING!!!
