The cliche fall family photoshoot.

First of all...

Seriously you guys???

I wasn't expecting such awesome feedback! Your opinions and encouragment have not fallen upon deaf ears. Truly cherished and appreciated. The story so far is...
1) We are ready to take bats to our computer. This PC is only a year old and has NEVER run well or smoothly for us. We ARE getting a Mac. Yesssssssss. It's only a matter of time. We almost went out this morning to purchase said product. Je deteste le P(piece)C(ofcrap). Anyone wanna donate to the letsgettheheighsanawesomecomputersotheycandooreallycoolstuffwithout-wantingtokillsomeone fund? Me too.
2)Dustin's been working on some sweet logo ideas for Emblem Photography. (It's pretty much the decided name). A little more tweaking and we'll put a few up for your viewing pleasure.
3)I wanna new camera. I have loved my camera for what it is. An entry level SLR. I'm sure that it would do more rad stuff with awesome lenses which will probably come before the new body but I'm ready to get something that is absolutely limitless. We also accept donations for the lens and new camera fund.

Here's our attempt at our own family photos. Yay for tri pods. And bribing kids with ice cream.

This shot was a bit of a fluke. We were just driving along and stopped to check out a spot and across the road was this amazing driveway. We set up the tripod and voila! I do need to edit the flowers growing out of our heads though. Oops.
This photo kills me. Ben at this point was DONE with the photo session. It looks like Megan is praying for dear Ben.

Like my cleavage? Nice huh?
Soooooooo BIG!
Olivia is apparently DONE as well.

My favourite.
My other favourite.
My other other favourite.
My other other other....okay fine I like them ALL.

I'll put a link to my email so if you wanna hire me. You can contact us. M'kay?
Thanks for the love!
You guys are AWESOME!!!!

Chis those are amazing. I have the same camera and definately can't take the pictures you can! No time to learn how to use it properly.. Plus, you are just so friggin talented! I love you so much, and they are all my favorite too... I love Olivia's tongue and drool on the one where she is getting up.. And standing? walking? and hair?? She is growing so fast. And Ben and Megan look like big kids already!

Wow, look at all those ugly kids and your hideous husband. Seriously, what a beautiful family! My word. I love the green that you are all wearing, it photographs so well. Excellent job! Now tell me the truth, are you good at printing pictures? I have thousands and thousands of pictures on my computer from the last 3 years of my life and we have hardly printed one of them..it is a shame!

Oh yeah, and I'll totally buy your old camera off you to help you pay for the new one. I'm stuck with my old Kodac easyshare, which kinda sucks.

Christy, these are STUNNING. Not that I expected any less, but c'mon! I am so thankful you were gracious enough to let me be your freebie guinea pig, before you start charging a $3000 sitting fee.
I will talk to Steeb and see if he'll maybe let me buy your D50. Gotta start somewhere. Your trash would be my (far too advanced for this "auto setting" girl) treasure. Please, will you save it for me and let me buy it (for $5?). Really, though. I want it and would totally consider paying you a fair price for it ($6).
PS: You are like my diet coke. I feel funny if I don't have a daily DC, and I also feel funny when I don't see you in a day. Call me tomorrow!

Hi Christy,
I am a friend of your sister Becky. I have been coming to your site through Becky's and love your pictures! (My personal favourite is the one of Ben and Megan hugging, the look on her face is ADORABLE!) I was just curious what type of camera you are using if you don't mind me askin?

Hi, I am a total lurker. I found your blog through Angella and I thought I would pop out and say WOW! The pictures are amazing! I wish I lived closer and had something going on in my life that I would need a photographer!

Your kiddies are the cutest and those pictures totally do them justice I bet!

I so want to hire you. However it would be for photos of me - or we would have to bribe my husband wiiithhh... maybe a new video card? or else he'd never agree to it. You need help with a website, or are you guys all over that?

Hi Christy, Came across your blog through Kelly's (Filtering Life). Such talent! I am so inspired to get the camera out - time to get snap happy with the kids. I would hire you of course, but I can't afford to pay you to come to Australia. Is that ok?!
