there..that's better

I'm finally at a level of functioning that's more than 50 percent. I'd say I'm around eighty today. Boy, it's been awhile since I've been THAT sick for THAT long. My health really took a turn for the better when Dustin's sweet angel of a mommy drove all the way here to Summerland from Merritt to help nurse me back to health and watch the kiddies while I slept. I'm so humbled and thankful for her gracious spirit. She even cleaned my floor and scrubbed the bathroom to a higher sparkle than it's ever known. She brought, yummy soup and cookies for the kids. Truly heaven sent.

Being a mom and being sick is one of the hardest things I've ever experienced. I've never really been that sick before since becoming a mom. I couldn't lie in bed all day cuz Dustin still had to work. And my kids energy levels certainly weren't diminished whatsoever. I think that's why it took me so long to recover because I couldn't actually rest. That is until I had a helper come and give me a day off. Everyone needs a mommy when they're sick. And I'm thankful to have had one.
Sorry I've been a little absent from the scene. But, I am feeling much better.

So good to hear Christy! How wonderful that you had a special helper. Being sick and not getting to rest is the worst.

my prayers have been answered! you're finally better. It's been so hard not to be able to help you out, Thank-you Lord for sending janet, she is indeed an angel sent from above, (even though I would have preferred to have been doing the rescuing) talk to you soon Love Mom

Mommy's are the best aren't they? I can't imagine being really sick and having to still tend to children, although I am sure i will be faced with that in the future. Glad to hear you are feeling better. :)
