Keeping my fingers crossed.

And so it would appear that our little Megan has some form of early pnemonia in her little lungs. My Goodness! Is this ever going to end?! After her little flu like stint she fall right back into the pattern of high high fever and malaise. I made an appointment for her on wednesday to see the doctor but then after putting her to bed last night and listening to her horrendous coughing and gagging it was apparent to me that she needed to see a doctor NOW. The walk in clinic had just closed and so Dustin bundled her up and drover to penticton.
My mother, the world's smartest nurse and unofficial diagnostician suggested to me earlier last night that she probably has pneumonia with all her symptoms. Extreme fatigue, inability to walk or run for very long with out getting tired, inconsistent high fever ranging between 39.9 and 40 degrees. Dry cough and wheezing. Poor Megan.
I don't believe the doctor felt as though she has had pneumonia from day one. But, her body has become so weak that she isn't as able to fight off things she normally would. Probably why she had the flu and and what not. Well, I'm just really hoping that this is what she has and she can really start getting better now. I'm tired of watching her lay around all day asking me to carry her everywhere. I miss the energetic, vivacious child I gave birth to. Here's hoping.

So needless to say, she will be barricaded inside for a little to prevent any new viruses and bacteria from being introduced to her immunocompromised little body. Sorry Ange. You may have to keep your boys away just a little longer. I'm not too sure how much longer Ben and Graham can handle the separation. Or me for that matter. But, as soon as I'm sure she's on the road to recovery, we'll bring em over.

Well, picking up Ben on our way to the park helped alleviate the constant request for Ben...though I'm sure it will start first thing tomorrow.
I'm still praying for Megan. Nathan needs a wife someday :)
