My oh so sensitive husband asked me last night why my belly is bigger than Tianna's and Angella's
even though they happen to be farther along than I am.
Now, I realise he wasn't trying to be insensitive, it's a perfectly good question. Especially since in both my other pregnancies I was the type of person that was late showing and quite small up until her last month or so. The people I worked with didn't even know I was expecting when I quit work at eight months. True story. This is new territory for me; growing so fast so early. I am very excited about all of this and I haven't gained any weight yet but I am definitely showing a bump. Yet, I can't help but feel like the fat one now. Especially since I've struggled with my body image my whole entire life. I've never been fat or overweight just always felt like I was.
BLAH!
I almost expected the ultrasound tech to tell me I was having twins. But, I'm not. I'm just feeling like this is going to be a big one.
At least I get to share this experience with two of my closest friends. Even if it is a bit hard for me.

Tell him that thankfully you weren't barfing like Tianna, or super nauseous like I was.
And don't forget those 10 days or so that I spent on the can spewing nastiness out of my back end :)

Christy, you look mahvelous and your bump is so cute! Whenever you're feeling large and in charge, just take a glance over my way and you'll feel as thin as air. :)
I love your little belly. I love preggy bellies period. You are not large, you are pregnant. Your baby is just making a little bigger nest in your belly than the other ones. Maybe you have a comfy womb?!?!? You are beautiful!
To make you feel better you can take comfort in knowing you will never have to be as big as i was!! i was HUGE!! I look at pictures now and am horrrified! At the time i thought i looked so good, the ignorant bliss of pregnancy i guess. But seriously, Denise never use to show that much until she had her third then she popped really early but at the end was still no bigger than with her previous.
Janice, you had twins. You're allowed to be huge when you're pregnant with twins. But, my mom said the same thing about popping early but not necessarily getting bigger in the end. That's a bit consoling.
When I was ten weeks I was huge. Nothing I had fit and I just felt plump. Then by 20wks I was actually smaller than my friends having babies. Just grow a healthy baby! You look awesome.
