Should I cut this rat's nest? Do rat's even live in nests? Maybe I should refer to this as the source of morning horrors and screaming. Should I hack off the source from which stems the screaming? How does the girl even manage to walk around without bumping into walls?

She refuses to keep anything in her hair. But, she doesn't want it short. Apparently princesses don't have short hair. I'm so tired of this tangled web of hair. What would you do? I'd prefer to keep it growing but...the bed head...it's unbelievable.
PS. Anyone want to come over for some homemade chicken noodle soup? Dustin won't be eating it. It's his turn to blow chunks all over the bathroom floor and walls. Nice...

Aliah has this problem. She wants long hair, so use tons of Loreal kids detangler to weigh it down and work the nest OUT. PS- Super sweet lambs on Sunday. I loved how Megan just soaked up the spotlight and seemes quite comfortable staying on stage. Too precious.

I love you soup. love it. I'm sorry Dustin is sick. I hope that he feels better soon soon soon. And that it stops with him and doesn't hit anyone else...
Merry (almost) Christmas back! We are having the same hair-cut-needed issue with Hunter except that he is a boy... Her hair is so sweet, but I can imagine your feelings about the nattyness... frustrating!

Show Megan some photos of Princess Diana - she had short hair!

Maybe you could give her a choice - Either she lets you comb it daily (probably with the use of leave in conditioner) and put barrettes/ponies in it, or she has to get it cut in 2 weeks (or some other arbitrary amount of time). Just a thought - Might not work at all, but who knows? Worth a try :-)

I want to say don't cut it because it's such beautiful blond hair, but on the other hand, if I were her mother I would probably chop it. Sorry to hear Dustin is sick. Are the rest of you ok? It was so nice to see Dustin, give him a big thank-you hug from us, but we sure missed you! I miss my Christy! Have a verry Merry Christmas, Love Danica, Matt, Adora and Grace

I think she looks cute with it short...but she'd look cute any way her hair was.

I vote keep it! Maybe try a satin or silk pillowcase for her hair. I've heard that keeps the tangles and bed-head to a minimum. Sucky for Dustin. I want some soup! Mail it??? Freeze it and bring it this weekend??
6 more sleeps until I see you!

So not fun being sick, especially this time of the year. I love short haircuts. So I vote for short. Our girls just had their hair chopped. So adorable.

Love the hair :) Ruth has the same thing goin' on. I had the same bed head when I was a toddler. Joe and I call it her halo. Looks like one when the light is shimmering from behind her head :)

I like Megan with shorter hair. Maybe just cut her bangs and grow them out in a year or two when she will keep barrets in. Once the back is longer you can braid it for bed. That is what I do every night with Delaney's other wise she would have a waist length rat's nest!! Sometimes when we forget you would think she was being tortured as we brush it. Brooklyn wants no part in barrettes in her bangs either. Lucky for her she has bangs with no cowlick that lie straight! Hope you have a great Christmas trip with your family. See you in the new year!!!
