Heigh Five

I have a friend and she comes over almost every day on her lunch break. Somedays we have bagels with yummy cream cheese, and once a week we indulge ourselves on little bit of McRaunchy's. Either way the one consistent factor is friendship.

Amanda Brown is one of those people that everybody loves. She is funny, she is beautiful, she is generous, she is wise and insightful and whoever crosses her path will be welcomed with her smile and gentle heart.

Amanda understands me and the struggles I face on a daily basis in a way that very few in my life have or could. And for that I know she is a gift to me from God. People continually ask us if we're sisters or mistake us for eachother and I'm beginning to believe that it's more than just the blonde hair and long noses but it's the connection that there is between us. I feel I'm beginning to get a little possive of her. I get jealous if she visits other friends for lunch and I miss her when I go away for the weekend. I know this obsession we have developed for each other is beginning to annoy our husbands but if they knew the benefits and growing that I obtain from our friendship there would never be any argument whether we could "hang out and watch us some arrested development".

Don't get me wrong ladies of Summerland I love you all and I'm thankful beyond words for each and every one of you and how you contribute to my life in indescribeable ways, but tonight I'm just especially thankful for Amanda and her understanding of who I am. I look forward to seeing how each and everyone of my friendships changes and grows over the years.
