Because you keep bugging me for more...Mom.

So this is the view of the side of the house. The left elevation. The garage will eventually be in that space there. That big window will be the one from Ben's little room. And the other window is the downstairs bathroom. Small rooms but it's perfect for what we need.
Here is the front of the house as seen from the road. The big window there is the window into our living room. And of course that in the middle is the entry way.

Here we are in the house. Dustin is standing where the kitchen would be looking into the living room area. Where I'm standing drinking a slurpee. Yum. And the opening at the back will be our patio doors onto the deck. So as you can see the floor plan is very open just how I like it. It's all so surreal. Standing in there trying to imagine what it will look like when it's all done. Wierd.

This is the front from the other angle looking at the empty space where the garage will eventually be. It's a very small garage. JUST big enough to fit the van. It was either bigger house and small garage or big garage smaller house. Obviously I wanted a bigger house. Besides it's not like we suffer Alberta winters here in the Okanagan. Who needs to park all thier vehicles in a garage out here?

Lastly this is the view from standing in the backyard looking into the kitchen/dining area through the patio doors. And that there is Luke. He thinks he's hot stuff right there. Just kidding. He's doing an amazing job building the place with Dustin and Brad. I never imagined how fast it would go. The entire first floor was framed in less than two days. I can't wait to see the second floor and walk through my bedroom and imagine my little window seat.
sigh.
Fast forward six months please.
Well, not really. I hope we continue to enjoy the process.
My cup overflows.

Look at the progress! It's going to be such a great house...can't wait until you're all settled in your dream home and can sit and drink a slurpee while rocking your baby and sitting in the window seat. :)

That's so cool to see it coming up. I couldn't believe when Brad said they had the first floor framed in pretty much a day- that's pretty incredible. It will be so much to see it all go up. Can't wait to be around to see it all.
